Prince William Sounds
I hear the noise about thy keel;
I hear the bell struck in the night;
I see the cabin-window bright;
I see the sailor at the wheel.
-Alfred, Lord Tennyson, In Memoriam, A. H. H.
A night on the Sound.
A sound hull.
To sound the sea floor for fish and safe passage.
Sounding murres and otters in the wake.
Not a sound but the lapping waves and the eagle's cry.
She is a temperamental lover who gives and takes without warning. Her sounds are life on the water.
We have learned to listen to the sea.

This summer maybe we can convince Bill to take the three of us out there on the water...
Whose boat is that. Looks really neat.
TMF - I am so proud of you!!
Take time to read the comment I left on BE's blog. Thanks for making this dad proud.
Auntibeck in this case is the Encourager
RJ-The boat belongs to Bill, a friend from church. He manages to get out even when it's too cold to get out. I spent a night on his boat last month and went along as he checked his traps.
